On December 2013 in KIU was opened the museum of Kabanbai batyr who was a great Kazakh leader. You will learn about his great personality in museum’s exposure, feel the inextricable links of his native land. One of the most important place in exposure takes materials of Karakerei Kabanbai batyr’s contemporaries, who fought for independence of the people.

There is a rich weapons collection of batyr’s of that time. Funds of the museum rich in historical research of great Kazakh scientists.

The museum opened in this university teaches  young people the courage and fosters in them a sense of patriotism.
