On 5th of October at 11 o’clock in the Lecture Hall of the KIU, a collective viewing of the live broadcast of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan “Growth of the well-being of Kazakhstanis: increase of income and quality of life” was organized.
In order to clarify the main points of the Message, a vice-rector on strategic development and educational – methodical work spoke to the audience. Kombarova A.M. noted that the Head of State, in his address to the people, determines the main socio-economic directions of the state’s development for the upcoming period, which is a logical continuation of the “Five Social Initiatives” published on March 5 of this year.
Head of the department “Finance, Economics and Accounting” Kadyrov B.K. in his speech stressed that the Message of the President of the country contains a specific program of measures for the systemic modernization of Kazakhstan, in which N.Nazarbayev draws the attention of the Government to topical issues of the socio-economic development of the country and sets tasks to further improve the welfare of Kazakhstanis. At the same time, the President focuses on the fact that funding should be directed to the implementation of the planned reforms, which will provide a significant improvement in the quality of public services.
Speaking on behalf of the student activist Blasbayev Bіlіmzhan, a student of the specialty “Computer Engineering” and Toқtarbek Ayzhanat, a student of the specialty “Foreign Language” said that the President of the country constantly takes care of young people, creates conditions for work and education. And in the New Message, the priority of state policy is comprehensive support for youth and the institution of the family, issues of quality and accessibility of education and health care. This is the large-scale program “7–20–25”, which increases the availability of housing mortgages. This is an effective use of existing sports facilities, where certain categories of young people could be engaged for free. Next year N.Nazarbayev proposed to declare the Year of Youth. In conclusion, students drew the attention of students to the fact that the President noted: well-being depends, first of all, on a steady growth of income and quality of life. Incomes grow when a person is hardworking, is a professional in their field.
